Hello,

I'm running an older version of cygwin. I have to remain in sync with our
development partner.

/home > uname -r
21.0 (0.9/1/2)

I get the following message when trying to un-tar the vim-5.5 archive:

tar: usr/local/man/man1/rview.1: Could not create symlink to `vim.1': Too
many symbolic links

Is there a cure for this ailment (other than upgrading)?

Thanks!
