I think you misunderstood.  I updated the snapshot after I noticed that
there was a problem with uname.  This was well before your message.  The

DLL in cygwin-inst *is* the same thing as the DLL cygwin-whatever.dll.gz.
This wasn't anything that you did wrong or could have noticed.

I don't normally update snapshots in the middle of the day but I did today.
