Unix/Cygwin uses an LF character to separate lines, while DOS/Windows uses a
CR LF character sequence.

So what's happening, with files created by notepad etc., is that the last
word on each script line is interpreted as having a CR as the last
character.

If you look around the Cygwin web site, you should be able to find an editor
such as vi that won't have the problem.  I think there's also a solution
involving text vs. binary mounts, but I don't know much about how to go
about it.

error when I run them on bash of Cygwin-B20.1.The
error message usually is "command not found" or "No
such file or directory".I can guarantee The command
syntax in these files is absolutely right.Why?Anyone
