A few days ago I posted a message regarding make and a strange 5 second
delay. I have investigated a little bit and have found something very
strange. It seems that the problem only occurs if the drive letter of the
first directory in the path is not 'C'. Is there any possible explanation
for this, or am I on a wild goose chase?
