You'd never know that you were on nt !! I'm using the character mode vim (from the cygwin contrib site). When I start it up, if I search for a character on the line on the bottom of the screen and hit n a few number of times, it gets the following garble, but if change the framesize with the mouse, it's ok. ctl-L fixes the screen but the problem continues ##################################################### /WINNT4/system32/nls/ENGLISH:\ /SFU/Telnet/:\ .:\ ^M ^M export HISTFILE^M set -o vi^M export EDITOR=vi^M /EDI OOPSsearch hit BOTTOM, continuing at TOP OOPSsearch hit BOTTOM, continuing at TOP OOPSsearch hit BOTTOM, continuing at TOP OOPSsearch hit BOTTOM, continuing at TOP OOPSsearch hit BOTTOM, continuing at TOP ############################################################## BTW, its on exceed, though I am going to compile the xfree86 binaries a really soon. TIA, ===== John van Vlaanderen ######################################### # CXN, Inc.
