I downloaded from gcc.gnu.org the gcc-2.95.2.tar file.  After untarring
I applied the gcc-2.95.2-pgcc-2.95.3.diff.gz patch.  During the patch
process it gives  the following error:

gunzip </download/pgcc/gcc-2.95.2-pgcc-2.95.3.diff.gz | patch -p1 -E
