Most probably your gperf executable segfaults. Try to rebuild it (and/or
use the version of ftp://egcs.cygnus.com/pub/egcs/infrastructure/)

No Athlon optimizations under way (no Athlon here, and amd's information
has always been wrong). But you may test anyway, for example you might
find out that -fschedule-insns is profitable, or other flags ;)
