-----Messaggio originale----- Da: Erhan Bilgili <erhan AT altay DOT adm DOT deu DOT edu DOT tr> A: Steve Snyder <swsnyder AT home DOT com> Cc: pgcc AT delorie DOT com <pgcc AT delorie DOT com> Data: venerd́ 27 agosto 1999 9.08 Oggetto: Re: ICE in pgcc v2.95.1 with -O3 or greater > > yes ! i tested and it crashes with the -mpentium flag , anyone >have this problem with -mpentium ? i never get this with -mk6 , >-mpentiumpro etc .... > > Erhan Bilgili > > I got the same results.. and more. With -mk6 and -O2 the compiler itself do not crash but instead produce buggy excutables (SIGSEGV on run). Compiling with -O6 seems better but not for all programs. I try also to switch from binutils 2.9.5.0.3 to 2.9.5.0.8 with same results. On the contrary RPMS binaries downloaded from your site runs well (kdebase-1.1.2 for an example). Any ideas ??
