There's no witchcraft to making the Linux Kernel compile w/ PGCC, just get a
(stable)PGCC working, mod the arch/i386/Makefile (so that you can get the full
advantage of PGCC. The defaults are for gcc 2.7.2.3).
BTW, I have never recompiled my X servers, though I have considered it.
Probably some of the same. Also, which Linux dist do you have??? RedHat, as of
Release 6, doesn't include gcc 2.7.2.3 anymore, instead they use EGCS
1.1.2(2.91.66), and PGCC 1.1.3(2.91.66) is a patched EGCS.
