I currently use egcs-1.1.2 on a i686-linux-pc-gnu (Linux RedHat 5.1 / 350 MHz Intel Pentium II) I tried to compile pgcc-1.1.2. I always get an internal compiler error message "can't split instruction" followed by a weird lisp-like syntax message during compilation. if I do make bootstrap, this happens during stage1 process. if I do make, this happens during iostream.cc compilation. PGCC-ly yours, Jacques Leroy
