I just download egcs 1.1.2 + pgcc patch 1.1.2
egcs can compile but not if pgcc patch is applied.
Linux i586-pc   glibc2     Linux 2.2.5     gcc  2.7.2.3   rest of a
RedHat 5.2   good binutils
