I've downloaded both egcs-1.1.2.tar.gz
and egcs-1.1.2-pgcc-1.1.2.diff.gz and 
tried to configure/build it all.

Without applying the pgcc patch I was
able to successfully build egcs-1.1.2
but after applying the pgcc patch the
build crashes and burns while compiling
the file 'haifa-sched.c' in the function
'update_flow_info'. (Error 8259)

I created two build sources one for pgcc
and the other for egcs so there was no
source contamination.  I tried building
after running configuration both with
and without '--enable-shared'.

My current compiler is pgcc 1.1.1 under
linux kernel 2.0.36 (RedHat 5.2)
