Subject: PGCC AMD optimized kernel
Reply-To: pgcc AT delorie DOT com

Hmmmm, don't know about incompatibility, I've been compiling my kernel since 2.0.36 with pgcc without any problems, I've also used -marg-align-double to compile my kernel with pgcc (I edit /usr/linux/arch/i386/Makefile to change CFLAGS), and had no problems. But I've compilied GNOME with -marg-align-double, and that basically killed it.
Also, can someone tell me what -DCPU=586/686 optimizations is supposed to do, and if that's feasable to use with
amd/pentium switches?
