Since my previous e-mail had the wrong reply-to address I am sending the question again. I have compiled pgcc 2.91.57 using gcc 2.7.2.3 (on Linux 2.0.35, Redhat 5.1) using the following commands (after applying the pgcc patch to egcs 1.1b): CFLAGS="-m486 -O3";../egcs-1.1b/configure --prefix=/usr --enable-shared --enable-haifa --enable-threads --disable-static --disable-debug i686-redhat-linux;make prefix=/usr MAKEINFO="makeinfo --no-split" bootstrap-lean;make prefix=/usr MAKEINFO="makeinfo --no-split" install When I compile the attached files I get: (1008)$ g77 -c mycmatptr.f -o mycmatptr.o g77: Internal compiler error: program f771 got fatal signal 11 This command is successful when using egcs 1.1b. Does anyone know what the problem is? Please contact me through my e-mail address <robert DOT fleisig AT hwcn DOT org> as I am not your list server. Thanks in advance, - Robert V. Fleisig
