> K6-3D and K6-2 are much stronger in this area. They have a dual MMX core > and will perform better on MMX. >is anybody with such beasts here that can test them against the two bzips? Hello I have just subscribed to this mailing list so I don't exactly know what the discussion is about but I am wondering if there is a pgcc option in order to compile an mmx code (i use -mpentiumpro at the moment). I have a K6 233 but not a k6 2 will it be the same ?? How can I compile bzip2 for mmx ??? Bye Fox
