-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'M NOT ON THE MAILING LIST please send reply to plong AT mitre DOT org Your project seems very interesting -- I'm not clear about a couple of things 1-Your project seems targeted to the 586 core. I am concerned with 686 performance. Will code optimized for the 586 core also be optimized for the 686 core? (Pentium II specifically if that makes a difference). 2-How well does PGCC do with the 6th generation intel processors compared to GCC 2.8.1 with -O2[3] -march=PentiumPro? I understand that every program is different but I'd like to hear your impression.
