Howdy,
I can't seem to get pgcc up and going. I downloaded
'egcs-1.0.2.tar.bz2' and untarred it fine. I then attempted to patch it
with 'egcs-1.0.2-pgcc-1.0.2.diff.tar' after untarring of course, and it
seems to patch everything ok, until the last two files. It's says it
can't find them and asks me if I want to skip them. I said yes, and then
try to compile like normal (mkdir obj; cd obj; ../configure; make
bootstrap). It starts to compile fine but later in the make it says:
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/hold/egcs-1.0.2/objdir/texinfo'
Bootstrapping the compiler
make[1]: Entering directory `/tmp/hold/egcs-1.0.2/objdir/gcc'
make CC="gcc" libdir=/usr/local/lib LANGUAGES="c "
make[2]: Entering directory `/tmp/hold/egcs-1.0.2/objdir/gcc'
cd ../../gcc && autoheader
/bin/sh: autoheader: command not found
make[2]: *** [../../gcc/cstamp-h.in] Error 127
make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/hold/egcs-1.0.2/objdir/gcc'
make[1]: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/hold/egcs-1.0.2/objdir/gcc'
make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
It compiles fine before I apply the pgcc patch. Hmm... Anyone got any
ideas?? Here is my relevent system info:
Linux 2.1.99
glibc 2.0.7
egcs 1.0.2 (from before trying to patch with pgcc)
patch 2.1
