Servus ! Does anybody know, how to compile libc-5.4.xx ? I've been trying since 5.4.43 but always ending up in errors. I tried PGCC-1.0.1, EGCS-1.0.2, GCC-2.8.1 - nothing worked. So I had to install the binary version (which is surely not pentium-optimized). And even this didn't help to compile Kernel-2.1.90 (2.1.89 till 2.1.90-pre2 compiled without errors with any of the compilers - but froze after booting :-). The Kernel is compiled but there are unresolved symbols and so zImage wasn't linked together... Mathias Weigt p5iba AT medchem2 DOT pharmazie DOT uni-halle DOT de
