After some serious investigation in "world.log" when making Xfree 3.3.1 I've
found things that to me doesn't look like user error's. so I decided to report
them.

/usr/X11R6/xc/programs/xkbcomp/
gcc -O3 -fno-strength-reduce -ffast-math -mcpu=i486 -march=i486 -mieee-fp -funroll-loops -fexpensive-optimizations -fomit-frame-pointer -malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -malign-double -ansi -pedantic -I../../include/extensions -I../.. -I../../exports/include -Dlinux -D__i386__ -D_POSIX_C_SOURCE=199309L -D_POSIX_SOURCE -D_BSD_SOURCE -D_SVID_SOURCE -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO -c expr.c -o expr.o
gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 11
make[4]: *** [expr.o] Error 1

/usr/X11R6/xc/programs/xkbevd/
gcc -O3 -fno-strength-reduce -ffast-math -mcpu=i486 -march=i486 -mieee-fp -funroll-loops -fexpensive-optimizations -fomit-frame-pointer -malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -malign-double -ansi -pedantic -I../../include/extensions -I../.. -I../../exports/include -Dlinux -D__i386__ -D_POSIX_C_SOURCE=199309L -D_POSIX_SOURCE -D_BSD_SOURCE -D_SVID_SOURCE -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO -c xkbevd.c -o xkbevd.o
gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 11
make[4]: *** [xkbevd.o] Error 1

output of gcc -v:
Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/i586-pc-linux-gnu/pgcc-2.90.23/specs
gcc version pgcc-2.90.23 980102 (egcs-1.0.1 release)

since the compile isn't finished yet I can't tell if there's going to be more
of theese errors. I'm going to solve this by trying to use -O2 as the only
optimisation. If that doesn't work I'm going to resort to standard gcc.

I'm not sure about what other info I should include so I'll settle with the
above. If any extra info is needed then just ask.

**** I'M NOT ON THIS MAILING LIST ****
