I sincerely appreciate your helpful response. Due to recent
research, I have concluded that PCDOS is pretty much out of the
question if I am going to obtain a higher level of functionality
with regard to my use of DOS. I have therefore decided that DRDOS
is by far my only viable option.

Do any of you good people know where I can obtain a downloadable
version of DRDOS? Furthermore, what might be the cost of
registration and/or support? Also, does it allow for memory usage
above the 8.6 megs of ram generally allotted by other versions of
DOS? For that matter, what about the possibility of multi-tasking?
