Hi,
I thought this exchange from JP Software's support forum (http://www.jpsoft.com)
might be interesting to some DOS (4DOS) and OS/2 (4OS2) users. (4DOS also
runs in DOS boxes under OS/2.)
Greetings,
Matthias

| As you know, our 4OS2 command processor for OS/2 is now a free
| unsupported product no longer under active development but still
| available for download from our ftp site (see our 4OS2 web page).
|
| If you are still using OS/2, you may want to look at the 4OS2 version
| provided by SciTech Software based on source code obtained from us. I
| know very little about the changes they have made, but I believe they
| corrected a few potential buglets and may have added limited
| functionality.
|
| That "4OS2 -SciTech Edition" is free and unsupported, but might be
| worth a look at:
| Please remember that it is a package created (and maintained?) by
| SciTech, and that JP Software will accept neither credit nor blame for
| it besides our initial contribution of the source code...

|
| I just saw a posting in response to a suggestion I made that 4OS2 might
| help solve another's problems which elicited a post that they would be
| doing maintenance...a small win, hopefully, for those still w/OS/2...
