Well, I don't know how networking would be handled in this
situation. I suspect you would set up your Linux system to
provide the networking support and, I assume, access your
networked drives as sub-directories of the Linux root directory,
which you can then access in DOSEMU via the 'L:' drive letter.
So if in Linux your networked drive is accessed via '/xyz/abc',
then in DOSEMU, you would access it via 'L:\xyz\abc'.

As for your second question, I don't have FreeDOS at all,
I only have DR-DOS. This I had downloaded a few months
ago from "www.drdos.com". The DOSEMU package from
"dosemu.sourceforge.net/stable" comes in two parts, one
has the DOSEMU binaries, the other has the FreeDOS
binaries. I only downloaded and installed the DOSEMU
part of the package, then installed the DR-DOS package
in my DOSEMU directory. So that's what I'm using with
DOSEMU. Experimenting with FreeDOS is also on my
"to do" list, but that will have to wait its turn in the queue.

Joe.
