Hi folks.

If anyone is interested, I have recently written a program to allow
environment variables to be read from the console (ie. user), so as
to make batch programs much more interactive and flexible. You
can download it from http://jds-freeware.hypermart.net/util2.zip
(eventually, this "utility collection #2" should have more than just
one utility in it;-). AFAIK, this utility will work on any version of
DOS (well, probably not V1.XX?) , although obviously I can't
guarantee any such thing.
