Arkady, do you mean that you cannot find any 386-class machine with PS/2
ports ? I used to have a DELL 386DX-20 with a PS/2 port, and most of the
386 laptops I saw had such a port.

If the dead port is the PS/2 port, there may still be two serial ports
available (1 probably occupied by the modem). The second serial port
could be used to connect a mouse...
