The .INS file contains information for the INSTALL program; it gives the
possible parameters (IRQ, frame type, etc.) that the driver can accept.

If one doesn't have a .INS file, but does have the MLID (the .COM file), one
can just install any random card, then edit the STARTNET.BAT to run the new
MLID instead of the old one.  One might also have to edit the NET.CFG file
to include parameters for the new driver.
