Well, C would not be a good choice, due to it's very poor "readability",
especially since Jim is blind. Pascal is much more "readable", but
even so, it would be difficult for Jim to see the structure of a program
because he would not be able to see visual clues such as indentation.
Much as I loathe Basic and it's lack of structure, in this situation it
may actually be the most appropriate programming language. However,
as I don't use Basic, I don't know what command-line compilers are
available, if any.
