Yes, it's curious that you deem that any message with the word
"s p a m" in it, must be "s p a m". Perhaps messages with the
word "gold" in them are really worth saving? ;-)
Anyway, it is interesting that the lists are open to posts from anyone,
it certainly explains why I get much more s p a m from this list than
all others I subscribe to - combined.
Is it possible instead, to send an automated response to non-members,
just telling them that they need to subscribe first and how to subscribe?
I wonder if other list members would agree that this is an appropriate
step to take, given the recent escalation in s p a m m i n g activity?
