Try one of the DR-DOS restore.com/exe versions.  DR doesn't check the
version of the OS that it's running on, offers a whole bunch more options
and is just a BETTER program.  You can even restore to a different directory
than that from which you backed up.  DR rules!

You can try the SETVER program. Type:

SETVER restore.exe 3.30

To make DOS report version 3.3 to the executable restore.exe

I think Windows 98 loads the setver.exe device driver (regardless of whether

it is actually in config.sys or not)
