Greetings all-
My name is Neil and I live in Virginia and just signed up on this list.
I recently installed DRDos onto my hd. It is the only operating system
on that drive. My other hd has WinMe hidden somewhere and BeOS. What I
am trying to do is set up some Ham Radio digital programs that require a
sound card. My IBM NetVista Pc should have one, but when I bought it
from Tiger Direct, I did not get much literature with it. The sound
card worked fine with wME but I tried doing some type of patch?? so I
could run true dos programs with WINme....it didn't work and when I
tried putting it back the way it was....well I am sure you know what
happened. Luckily I had BeOS and that boots from a disk. I am waiting
for IBM to send a replacement cdrom so I can't reinstall windoze at the
moment. Anyway, how do you find out what type of sound card and the
configuration? When I installed DRDos, it did not automatically detect
it.
Thanks
Neil
