Yes, I've used Nettamer to very limited success, and like the many choices
under lynx with lynx_kit being the most comprehensive.
Yet still something is missing and a better more comprehensive choice
needs to be there and I've always thought that a web based site which would
convert any web page into text should work but it doesn't seem to be
developed yet I guess. You have them for pdf to text but not others as far
as I am aware.
But you still would want the site to be interactive where a web url
could be entered and what would happen is that the web site would be
converted into a functional page for easy use.

JUst dreaming I guess but there once was a 3.1 browser named PW-Webspeak
and it did a good job of converting the sites into text and tags but it was
only 3.1 that I ever used and again you had to fire-up windows to browse.

-WebBoy, Arachne, DR-Webspyder, Skipper (AFAIK) are all graphical web
-browsers for DOS. If you want text based, perhaps a DOS port of
-Lynx is more to your liking, perhaps Nettamer as well. Have a look
   -at "www.fdisk.com"
-and "www.browser.org" for links to various DOS browsers ...

-> Well, is Webboy text or not, I assume not?
