Hi Jim, may be that I misunderstood your request, but isn't it a matter of software you run with DOS? I. e. I used Minuet to browse the Internet, fetching e-mail, while chatting via Telnet on my ISP's IRC client. Minuet comes with this kind of multitasking and is running under MS DOS as good as any other DOS I know. Greetings Arno
