At the risk of getting shot for using the term "warez" (or worse, the
name of the newsgroup I'm referencing), there is a CD-ROM ISO of
MS-DOS 6.22 on the Usenet newsgroup alt.binaries.warez.fukengruven. It
was posted on August 24 and again on August 27. It was posted as a
multi-part RAR file (8 parts altogether), 3 posts per RAR file (except
for .R08 which only took two posts) plus an NFO and SFV file. The
poster, "Wildman", is a regular on the warez groups so I think you can
be reasonably sure that there are no viruses or trojan horses in the
post.

You may be able to modify the setup to be able to install DrDOS 7
instead.

I have no problem downloading things like that--I have more licenses
for M$DO$ 6.22 than I know what to do with. My main interest in the
warez groups is making sure I have backups of the media if I or someone
I'm helping has a license, but has lost the media. If the post is
expired on your newsserver (my ISP's pulls off GigaNews; you may have
a local friend who uses GigaNews or whose ISP uses GigaNews) and
you've got a license for M$DO$ 6.22, drop me a note and I'll forward
the pieces to you. Just let me know what your mailbox capacity is so I
don't overload it.

P.S. So that there's no misunderstanding; I'm not advocating
"warez" as such; just mentioning a particular post to be used in
conjunction with an existing license.

That'll teach you to loan out your original CD! ;-)

That might be the simplest; maybe someone on the list who also has the
DR-DOS 7.03 CD would be willing to burn you a copy.
