Yes, that's how I normally run WfW 3.11.

Win 3.1x may be able to run in standard mode, but WfW 3.11 can't.

If I start DR-DOS with the TASKMGR in multitasking mode, this works fine 
with Win 3.1 and the DOS sessions are visible and can be activated.
Exactly the same boot, but with TASKMGR in taskswitching mode and under
Windows (in standard mode) the DOS sessions are not displayed :(

I'm beginning to wonder if my recollection of being in taskswitching
mode is wrong and I'd been in multitasking mode. If so, I wonder why
TASKMGR can't display the DOS sessions in taskswitching mode ?
