Well, Bernie has already indicated one advantage - LSPPP is a
very "lean" PPP packet driver ...
As for IP numbers - I wasn't talking about the user's IP address,
which as you say, is normally dynamic nowadays. I was talking
about the ISP's (host) IP address - LSPPP can detect this, just
like other modern PPP clients ...
