IMHO, the most stable DR-DOS is 6.0 (4/92 edition, with updates). You
can't squeeze the absolute maximum conventional memory with it, but
it's very compact and very stable (even EMM386 works properly!). <g>
BTW, if you need DPMI for it, use CWSDPMI (sp?) ...
Not sure about licensing, though! :-(
