On most systems I have seen, there is a check for the amount on startup.
It runs by pretty fast but it is there long enough to see it. It shows
the number of bytes on mine and does not round off to megabytes.

Normally the CMOS setup will also show the amount of memory installed.

If you have Norton Utilities or PCTools, they both will show the amount
of memory installed.

If you run the MEM program it will also show show the total memory, Look
at the totals and not the amount that is used or still available.

There are many utilities like SNOOPER and others that will tell you a
lot about your system.

If WINDOZE is installed you can right click on MY Computer and select
properties and it will tell you how much memory is installed.

If you do not have anything that rounds off to megabytes just take the
total number of bytes and divide that number by 1,048,476. If you want
it in Kilobytes, divide by 1024.
