Ok, so adding the XBIOS driver did NOT solve the "rename file problem"
[Operating System error number 17] which afflicts IBMDOS.COM version
7.04. Too bad, I wanted to use DRDOS [through the Loader] as a way to
replace the 'Boot to REAL DOS' option lost when I upgraded to WinMe.

Actually I can't believe that Calders didn't jump into the WinMe 'Boot
to REAL DOS' "add-on" niche market after Millennium was released--even
if it didn't generate much revenue, it would have generated publicity
for Caldera--and tweaked MS's nose! But Caldera would have had to fix
up all FAT32 processing--including boot_from_FAT32--using only the three
kernel files. Plus we don't know what the Caldera/MS settlement said
about DRDOS sales & marketing... So much for free competition!
