To Sacha and others:

It seems, some people have problems to find the 4DOS
BETA stuff on JP Software´s site (http://www.jpsoft.com)
for unknown reasons.

The exact link to their BETA page is:

This is where you can sign up to their beta mailing list &
newsgroup, which is mandantory to send bug reports.

For those, who prefer using FTP, here´s a link to download
the current BETA build 34 (expires on 2001-02-14 IIRC)
from their server:
