Well DR-DOS 'cursor' isn't supposed to switch off your
cursor (ie. the OFF parameter doesn't mean that, it
just means to unload CURSOR.EXE).
As for the third party 'cursor' - are you sure this is
an O/S compatability issue (ie. not a hardware issue)?

| for awhile I've used cursor.exe ( a third party util)
| to shut the cursor off. This util doesn't work on
| dr-dos, the cursor.exe that comes with dr-dos does not

| also, there's no reason you can't use xmsdsk for dos
| 6.22, it works on either do and is better that
| ramdrive.sys or vdisk.sys.
