Alternatively (in the config.sys file):

devicehigh=c:\drdos\vdisk.sys 2048 256 128 /E

The above will create a 2mb vdisk as your next available drive (Mine is d:).

If you are running drdos, "dosbook vdisk" will get you all the detail
