Thanks for the warning ...

However, two things to clarify :

1. Did the 1.2M file have a Control-Z character in it, such that
    "copy" didn't copy the whole file (this behaviour depends
    also on the filename extension, of course).

2. What do you mean by "Then I tried to unzip this file (one
    of the damaged programs)"?
