> A long time ago I was invited to join a list called survpc. Many of you > may know it. I was a member of it all of three days. The Reason? > > Most of the discussion there were , flames etc. A signal > to noise ratio that was almost below zero. So I quit. SurvPC isn't like that all the time. We've had a couple of major flamewars (both over whether the list should discuss Windows) - the last one ended with a number of listmembers leaving, and one of them starting a DOS only list. There've been a couple of other minor skirmishes, but it's all quiet now (a handful of messages a day, and all signal). Regards, Ben A L Jemmett.
