Hi mark,

The final release of 7.03 will have the time stamp 7:03 on them. I don't
recall the date. There was an update from 7.02 to 7.03. Those files did not
have the 7:03 time stamp on them. They have a different date and the file
sizes are different. I guess this was some kind of intermdiate update.

Novell DOS 7 had 15 total updates. Each update would include all of the
files in all the pervious updates. Those files would have different dates.
Some commands and system files were updated several times.

I don't believe there were any other intermediate updates from NWDOS 7.00
thruogh Caldera DOS 7.02. If there were, they no longer exist at the site. I
don't even recall ever seeing any stuff for beta testing. But for about six
months to a year I did not keep track. (7.02 first update to 7.03 final
time period)

There is still an update folder and I believe it is located in the 7.02
directory. There are/were several different routes you could take to the
files. Some were just packaged into one big compressed file and in another
area, you could get the individual diskette images. You could get the full
version or the lite version. The only difference between the full and lite
is lite does not include PNW otherwise everything else is exactly the same.

There is another folder for PNW, don't recall the name of the directory but
it includes the original Novell DOS 7 diskette six which was the PNW TUTOR.

You will not find the Linux DRDOS HDIMAGE through FTP unless you have a
program that will show hidden directories. You need to go to the WEB page to
download that file. Which reminds me, I should contact Lineo and tell them
to compress that file with GZIP. It can be unzipped with PKZIP, but Linux
users prefer GZIP. The file is huge and can be compress to a rather small
file to download.

The same is true for Personal Netware updates. As far as I have been able to
determine no new ones have been added since Caldera aquired DRDOS and PNW.

Pat
