Don't have Outlook Express ... but in Outlook, the format of
outgoing e-mail is defined via the recipient's properties in
the address book. If Outlook Express is similar - close any
message you may be reading or writing (this seems to
affect what options are available from the menus) and open
the address book. If you haven't already, create an entry for
'opendos' and in it's properties, de-select any HTML or
rich-text options. Even when you enter the 'opendos' e-mail
address manually in the "To" field, etc., Outlook recognises
it from the address book anyway, and uses the properties
defined there.

Once again, all this is based on Outlook, so I can only
speculate that Outlook Express may work in a similar
manner ...

Joe.
