If you take a look at Ontrack's download page, you will notice the 
file size should be, quote:
    Trial  Personal Edition Download (2576kb) 
    Trial Professional Edition  (2612kb)
unquote

The link submitted  here was for the Personal Edition. (hmm
maybe the prof. edition includes the "missing"  DR32FAT files I
mentioned in my previous msg? )  Anyway,  quite a download for a
1.44mb floppy!

I'm sorry to say  you haven't missed anything.  You will in fact 
need Win 9 to create the bootdisk, which explains the file size. 
Quoting from their download page again:
    Important: EasyRecovery v5.0 includes Windows and DOS versions
    in   one. The files below are Windows installation files. They
    are to be run once from a working Windows system.
