No problem. :-)
You have W98 on that machine???
You *have* MSDOS v7.something on that machine.
When you see the massage "Starting Windows 98".... press the F8 key.
At this point, choose "Command prompt only"
That's all there is to it. (you're at the MSDOS command prompt)
Run any DOS program you'de like.
When you *do* want to go into W98 (why you'de want to is beyond my
comprehension but......), just type "win" and press enter.
Just like you used to do way back in the days of Win3.x :-)
