Of course, some of the internals are different, but the APIs and data 
structures (even the undocumented) are identical (or very similar).
Please get in contact with the authors of NTFSDOS, and ask them to
download DR-DOS from ftp://ftp.lineo.com to trace NTFSDOS' init
under DR-DOS. I'm sure the problem is minor (but I cannot track
this down because NTFSDOS is closed source) and can be fixed in 
a few hours. If there would actually be an omittion in DR-DOS, the 
authors of NTFSDOS should feel free to get in contact with me. 
I would be very interested in this, and I might be able to help.
