My idea is to present a list that is a bit less technical than this one
and covers any DOS.
Additionally, the list is intended to cover add-ons, tools,
utilities,etc.
By definition "opendos" is for this DOS.
The Linux movement is reminding people of DOS and thus bring renewed
interest.
dosonly is very much oriented toward DR-DOS, but I give coverage to
other flavors that
may be of interest to users.
I don't expect astounding traffic, but hope to help folks looking for
stuff or just finding that
DOS does exist.
I would be glad to join in an effort to consolidate the existing lists
in order to increase the
overall base. The dosonly list is not caste in stone.

"I'm not trying to tell anyone how/what to run their lists, but is there
enough traffic to warant a dosonly list? There's another one I'm aware
of
as well, though I do not have any contact info for it at the moment.
All
the dos lists have relatively low traffic, and although it goes in
spirts
and stops, it really isn't all that much, perhaps we should consolidate
to
increase knowledge/experience? (just a thought)"
