Yes.  It is also good to know that there will be at least some
competent engineers to work on the code if it is GPLed.

Hold on, can you actually buy Windows 2000 in Germany?
The last thing I heard was that it was banned over Diskkeeper.
I have not heard anything to the contrary so far..

Say what you will about the so-called 'Church' and Dianetics,
Battlefield Earth is well worth reading.  Probably the only thing
he wrote that is worth reading.
Probably you are referring to the Mission Earth series, most of which
was indeed written after he died.  I have not read any of this and probably
never will.
