My impression is that Caldera 
took the money and ran.  
There's no reason to believe 
they will plow it back into 
DR-DOS, since Caldera's main 
business is Linux-driven and 
they're up against a dominant 
competitor, Red Hat, in that 
arena.  I expect the vast bulk 
of the settlement will be 
invested in Linux development 
and marketing, with the DOS 
product changing little 
beyond (hopefully) bug fixes 
implemented by outside 
contractors.
